Home School Association (“HSA”)
Saint Francis Xavier Home School Association (“HSA”) is an organization made up of parents, teachers and our pastor addressing issues that are important to our school. We are dedicated to our children and all parents are encouraged to join.

Parents play a key role in the overall functioning of our school by volunteering for fund raising opportunities and activities, providing suggestions and being involved. Involved parents understand the challenges our school faces and become part of the solution. By developing a closer relationship with the school -- the school develops a positive reputation in the community.

HSA frequently coordinates information fliers, keeping the entire school community informed of current events, issues, and accomplishments. Regular meetings allow us to share information with parents.

HSA is a self-funding organization. By inviting the school’s parent’s to join. Fundraisers support school programs, building improvements, and educational events.

CLASS REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Must be in attendance at all home School Meetings.
 

Must attend Columbus Day Parade. You will check-in and out all marchers in your class.
 

At Christmas time and end of the school year, you will be asked to make the collections of $10 per student (no more, no less) for teachers and if applicable $5 for aides.
 
Be available for class trips.
 
Coordinate anything the teacher may ask you to do.
 
New Beginnings thought 3rd Grade:
For Santa Visit: coordinate cookies and juice. You may collect $1 per child if you choose
 

Each Class Representative is responsible for soliciting five (5) businesses for the Annual Card Party OR working at the event the night of the Card Party.
